Dear Gun Bunnies, Lots Happening over in camp Gun and Doll Show. First, we are doing a little acoustic show this Thursday the 20th of Sept.

It's at Grant & Green in North Beach (info below). Happy Hour Show. That means 8pm. It's free, I think. Pretty sure. 

 

Second. You have got to see how our website is developing! Lots of great new photos and new songs for review. "American Radio 2" is up as a pre-release for our fans only. There are 13 videos on the site as well. Also just shot a little video to" My Valentine." 

 

Third: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!

We are finished with our first collection of holiday songs. It's called "Celebration Songs." It will be released in a couple of months on Fortune Records. It's also up on our site for review. All the songs are designed for short email cards (Get Well, Happy Valentine, Happy Mother's day, etc.) We have already had over 85,000 downloads of one song alone!!! A very good sign indeed.

 

Now this is where the fun comes in.....

We need to promote this record with a little video. So cool that it's on the front page of Youtube. The first song on the record is called "Spirit." A cute little catcy number. "Gotta a little spirit, Don't ya get rid of it. Got a little dream, You got the best of things."  The pitch: we dress up volunteers in cute Santa outfits and rig up some carriage-like harnesses. Take my pair of ice block shoes out of the freezer and harness up 6 volunteers with leather straps. Presto, our version of a zero emission vehicle. ( illustration below)

Grant & Green is an awesome and usually free Rock & Roll bar in SF's North Beach. Usually no cover, but the band is forced to pass the coffee can (unbelievable but true) for money. It's a good feeling to be able to give what you would like rather than a fixed cover. A fun place with a dance floor and near all of the other North Beach bars found in my guide. Andy's rating is a "B+" for little or no cover with points off for a somewhat "rough" crowd.

If you have ever been to The Jim Rose Circus Sideshow you know The Enigma: the guy covered head to toe in a blue puzzle tattoo topped off with genuine horn implants. The Enigma has appeared in the X-Files and Ripley's Believe It or Not. He and Katzen, with her full -body, tiger stripe tattoos and Teflon cat whisker implants make up the duo act, The Human Marvels.
